Health and Safety Tutorial

We were introduced to the new JVC ProHD camcorders in lesson and were given a health and safety tutorial before we got to use the equipment individually. We learned all the basic functions of the camera such as how to put it on and off, the zoom button focus adjustment and so on. After learning basic functions of the camera we understood that it was vital to take precious care of the equipment when filming. We had to use the tripods and learn how to lock the camera on it and off. These where basic indulgence but was fundamental to understand.  We were instructed by the college technicians who take care of and whom are in charge of the equipment. We were shown how to insert batteries and memory cards appropriately. There was an abundance of different functions on the camera and every individual function had branches with get deeper into the setting of the equipment. The arrangement of the focal depth and blur can bee seen on the viewfinder of the camera and could be adjusted from the focus rim, so that the focus is 100% clear and in state of your choice.

There were an profusion of aspects we needed to take care for when filming such as the battery life, memory space and any other settings that disable our filming.  In a worst case scenario we can take equipment to a far location from college and forget batteries or have no space on the memory card. To swerve form situations such as this, we have to double check the equipment before our journey.
